Valhalla Woodworking is a small business, focused on hand-crafted home furnishings and the replication of lost or broken parts and accessories for musical organs (ie. Hammond's & Leslie's)
Most projects start with a detailed CAD drawing; either from file, or specifically developed for a new design.
We use a broad assortment of woodworking tools, to shape and join hardwoods into fine furniture.
Joining techniques include tongue-n-groove, spline, biscuits, mortise-tenon, dado, rabbit, router glue joints and lap, among others.
Replacement pieces and projects, as well as new designs, are usually held together with strong glues, and sometimes reinforced with brads and/or screws.
Typical woods include oak, birch, walnut, maple, cherry; but projects can be undertaken in a wide range of woods (ie. Poplar to Mahogany), as well as the customer's other preferences.
Most items are built to order, but sometimes a piece is crafted as available inventory.
We are receptive to third party arrangements and can drop ship as necessary.
Valhalla Woodworking is located in Lancaster County, PA... Home of America's woodworking craftsmen.
